I am disappointed to see them put St. Andrews and Augusta into a special edition. Last year Augusta was in the main game for the first time along with St. Andrews that has been in the game for quite a while.

Hopefully, they will be offered as DLC but it is a shame to see courses that were part of the main stream game pulled in favor of an extra $10.

There’s opportunity here, but I thought the idea behind a big company acquiring another is to offer more services together than they did separately. Direct2Drive was a good service, or at least it was when I used it (I think the last time I bought a game from them was about 2 years ago). It’s unfortunate that with this deal they’re actually going to be losing some of their games and ALL the Prima guides. And what is Gamefly adding to their service out of the deal? An “Unlimited Play” feature of some old games that haven’t aged well, and for the most part, everyone’s already played… No thanks, I’ll stick with the Blockbuster Movie Pass from my employer, DISH, I like it a lot more than I ever liked Gamefly. But what’s not to like? I get movies and games by mail, with in-store exchanges, Blockbuster gets a lot of their new release movies 28 days earlier than their competitors, and it has unlimited streaming and a slew of movie channels. And the price fits easily in my budget, so it gives me more than Gamefly did, for less.

great article!
I would add one more thing: modify TTL in your DNS record to a small number few days(or weeks depending on your old setting) ahead of the move to reduce propogation times and local caching times(so you don't need to use ipconfig)
You can also tier the changes so you can reduce it to few hours first then few minutes on the day of the move

Thanks for the great tip. It should be noted that you cannot use the 10-key pad (the adding machine/calculator-type keys on the side of your keyboard) with this shortcut. Only the number keys on the basic section of the keyboard will work.

Does this mean no acceleration will be present on content protected with DRM? Like on Netflix for example.

Check out the last link above, Nominate an MVP, and it will take you to that page. Nominations are taken year round and they look at them every quarter and then announce them on (1 Jan, 1 Apr, 1 July and 1 Oct)

Thanks for the comment. The Snipping Tool is a very basic tool and I do not believe you can get beyond those limitations you mentioned such as the mouse and highlighted text. Still for a quick screen shot it is quite handy.

Nice tip. I too use the Snipping Tool a lot as a teaching tool. Any idea how to include the mouse cursor or retain a highlighted section? Currently, any highlighted text changes to a grey background when the Snipping Tool is evoked. For serious work I use Faststone Screen Capture (last free version).

I want to believe it is Gary Larson but alas I don't believe so.

What is being tweeted is "the blueprint" or in many ways "the outline"
of each cartoon.

No professional cartoonist would share "the magic" of cartooning because
in many ways it would be a betrayal to both fans and his former syndicate.

I have to go along with fake; and, an unfair fake who would love to be as
bright as Gary Larson and this may be his/her way of doing so, simply describing
each cartoon.

But in a real "cartoon blueprint" the descriptions are much more detailed. This is
not the way Mr. Larson would describe his cartoon blueprints, I'm afraid.
